Chapter 7 — Knightfall — 007 First Light Walkthrough
Overview
Bond and Greenway hit Webb Industries’ London HQ as a team. The chapter is a vertical office-infiltration — lobby to executive 2nd floor to Babbage Level 2 to Bohr/Einstein offices to a maintenance vent to Sir Nicholas Webb’s penthouse, the Perch. The signature payoff is the penthouse safe code, 1493E, which gates the THEIA/HYPERION evidence dump.
Knightfall introduces the IT Specialist / Service Update / Server Crash challenge cluster — widely reported as the hardest in the game, with one trigger (Service Update) showing inconsistent behavior at launch.
Spoiler note: Isola (Charlotte Roth) reappears mid-chapter, manipulating a circuit board, and agrees to help Bond access the Perch. First major collaborative scene with Bond before Vietnam.
Objectives (in order)
- Enter Webb Industries lobby with Greenway. Talk to R. Finch.
- Reach the Perch. Elevators are out — use the stairs via the lobby art-installation ladder (Greenway boosts Bond up).
- Find R. Finch’s office. Get his keycard. (Greenway boost → downstairs → break the left stall → office key.)
- Sabotage the door across from R. Finch’s office — Q-Lens the Cleaning Robot, call it through the locked door.
- Reach the East Wing via the Restroom kick-wall.
- Bypass the meeting room without alerting (Discretion Advised challenge — bluff the guard).
- Babbage Level 2 — silent takedowns on the 3-guard conversation (Hand of God).
- Sensor Security console — disable for Greenway to cross.
- Find the dead guard’s keycard in the next office.
- Isola cutscene + Perch elevator access via Maintenance room vent.
- Locker key from Vacuum Waste Disposal.
- Penthouse safe — 1493E.
- Hide from the Nicholas + Damien Webb cutscene.
- Combat escape — two brutes → flight deck.
Walkthrough (key beats)
Lobby art-installation ladder. Easy to miss. Players assume the elevators are the only way up and quit-reload looking for an alternate path. Approach the art installation and Greenway prompts the boost.
Discretion Advised. When the guard spots you on jump-in, you must bluff. Not fight, not run, not dart. Bluff success continues the stealth chain. Get this wrong and the whole Pacifist: Knightfall cluster fails.
IT Specialist / Service Update / Server Crash — the hardest cluster. Server room, hack all three servers, no detection, ≤8 eliminations. Use the Missile Pen on the two servers with armed guards — timed right, AoE clears three enemies. Hack the floor for Proxy Agent. Throw enemies off the elevator for Going Down. Max 8 eliminations total. Count carefully.
Service Update may not trigger reliably at launch — reload checkpoint if the progress doesn’t tick after the second hack.
Penthouse safe — 1493E. The clues are scattered around Webb’s office: a calendar, a photo, and a year on a plaque combine to point at 1493 + E. Sweep the office before opening the safe directly.
Hide-after-safe. A few seconds to close the safe and clear evidence trails before Nicholas + Damien enter. Use Q-Watch to dim the room lights if you have it ready.
Flight-deck escape. Two brutes in close quarters. Open with a Phone Dart on the lead brute, finish with grapple-throws into the railing.

Tips
- Find the lobby art-installation ladder. It’s the route, not the elevators.
- Discretion Advised demands a bluff, not a fight. Don’t reach for the dart.
- Server cluster: Missile Pen on the armed-guard servers, count eliminations to 8.
- Safe code is 1493E. The office clues triangulate it if you want to earn the puzzle.
- Use Q-Watch to dim lights during the safe-hide sequence.
