Chapter 6 — Uninvited — 007 First Light Walkthrough

Overview

Uninvited has 30 challenges — the highest in any chapter. M has officially closed the 009 case. Greenway tells Bond to drop it. Bond doesn’t. He drops Greenway off at his pub, drives home to his Kensington apartment, sweeps through a museum’s worth of personal objects left around by Cressida and Monroe, then drives to the Webb Industries Gala and crashes it.

The gala itself is the load-bearing set-piece: black-tie social stealth, an assassin Bond can’t fistfight, and a podium-hack puzzle where Bond gets poisoned partway and has to time taunts at Damien Webb to keep him close enough for the hack to finish.

Spoiler note: Damien Webb makes his first on-screen appearance here. Charlotte “Isola” Roth appears in a courtyard cutscene. The chapter confirms Sir Nicholas Webb is the conspiracy’s center.

Objectives (in order)

  1. Drive Greenway to his pub.
  2. Drive home to Kensington.
  3. Interact with apartment objects — Monroe’s trainers, Package for Cressida, A Letter from Cressida, Secret Indian Menu, Cressida’s Mug, Movie Marathon Flyer, Reminder Note, Incomplete Game of Hangman, Card Game, Mnemonic Game, Cressida’s Study Notes, Shaving Kit.
  4. Drive to the Webb Gala in Kensington.
  5. Investigate the blond man near the hotel entrance.
  6. Get the invitation — pickpocket a civilian (Q-Lens highlights the yellow rectangle).
  7. Gate Crasher (alt) — get in without pickpocketing.
  8. Find the assassin (signal track inside).
  9. Fight the Murto twin using environmental hazards — three hits, no melee.
  10. Reach Sir Nicholas Webb at the podium.
  11. Hack Webb’s phone while taunting Damien — timing puzzle.
  12. Cutscene + extraction.

Walkthrough (key beats)

Apartment sweep. None of the apartment objects gate the chapter, but they all reward lore-completionist challenges (Home Sweet Home cluster) and set up character beats for Vietnam and the finale. Sweep the bedroom and the kitchen.

Gate Crasher. Skips the pickpocket entirely. Stand at the reception desk → Q-Lens the first guard → Phone Dart. Pick up chemicals at reception → second Phone Dart. Laser Strap the third door guard → walk through. Requires Phone Dart and Laser Strap equipped.

Murto twin — environmental only. Do NOT engage in melee. He deals huge damage in close quarters. The fight requires three confirmed environmental-hazard hits — falling objects, electrical panels, fragile railings. Q-Lens highlights interactables on the second pass.

Podium hack — taunt-timing. Bond gets poisoned partway through hacking Webb’s phone and passes out. Damien arrives. The hack continues only while Damien is in proximity. Cycle: taunt → Damien closes + punches → his proximity completes a hack tick → Bond regenerates → taunt again. Let Damien drift too far = hack stalls. Let him hit too many times = health depleted. A 3-4 taunt cycle typically clears it.

Restoration Room shortcut. A keycard in a white box in a first-floor right-side room opens the Restoration Room window-vault path that bypasses the front courtyard. Use it for the second-floor approach if you missed Press Room access.

Gadget requirements

Laser Strap + Phone Dart (Dart Phone). Required for Gate Crasher and for several pacifist/ghost paths around the gala.

Tips

  • Sweep the apartment before driving to the gala. Bedroom Eyes is the heaviest lore challenge.
  • For Gate Crasher: Phone Dart twice, Laser Strap once. Same rhythm every attempt.
  • Never melee the Murto twin. Three environmental hits or restart.
  • Taunt-cycle Damien for the podium hack. Three taunts is the target.
  • Restoration Room shortcut is the faster second-floor approach if you can find the keycard.
