Postcards — 007 First Light Collectibles Guide

Overview

Postcards are the lowest-count collectible set in 007 First Light — just 10 to find — and the easiest to track because there is exactly one per location. Finishing the set unlocks The World Is Not Enough (Silver), one of five Silvers that feed into A Collector’s Habit (Gold). The trophy name itself is the title of the 1999 Bond film, which sets the tone for the whole collectible set: every postcard is a small tourist-style memento of where Bond happened to be that chapter.

A couple of warnings before you go hunting. The Kensington Postcard in Chapter 11 has to be picked up before you interact with the CCTV-room computers — if you trigger the security event first, the room locks behind you. The City of London Postcard in Knightfall has a similar one-way-door issue if you exit the wrong window. Both are easy to redo via Chapter Select, but it costs you ten minutes you didn’t need to spend.

Tips

Equip the Laser Strap continuously from Chapter 9 onward so you don’t forget for the Mauritania padlock.
Do not activate the Chapter 11 CCTV computers before grabbing the Kensington Postcard — the room locks.
The set unlocks at the end of the campaign for most players. If you want to chase it earlier, do Chapter Select for missions 11 and 12 first — those two are the easiest to mess up first time through.
