007 First Light — Full Plot Summary
Spoiler level: full campaign. Everything is on the table — including character deaths, the THEIA / HYPERION reveal, and the ending. Bail out now if you haven't finished the game.
Prologue — Against All Odds (Iceland)

During an SAS retrieval operation in Iceland, both helicopters carrying the strike team are shot down. Trainee aircrewman James Bond is the sole survivor. The mission orders him to destroy the satellite-research camp the captive scientists are being held in. Defying that order, Bond rescues the scientists, destroys the camp, and walks out alive — earning his way into the 00-program despite a reputation problem.
Chapter 1 — The Needle's Eye (Malta)
Bond flies to the MI6 training base in Malta. Greenway — 009 — picks him up from the airport personally and runs him through the full training cycle: driving, parry-and-dodge fistfights, parkour flag runs, the live-fire shooting course. The chapter ends with a free-roam combat test against fellow recruit Lennox Monroe. The Malta Postcard collectible can be picked up on a fold-out table beside water bottles during the Follow Greenway segment.
Chapter 2 — A Night Out (London)

Bond's first official field test: locate the "contact in red" inside a London nightclub, retrieve the pickup hidden in the third toilet stall's wall canister, get out clean. Multiple infiltration routes are designed in — balcony approach, lighting rig from the DJ stage, press-stamp swap, or poison-dart brute force. A boyfriend brawl breaks out at the bar regardless. Collectibles: the Memento Cocktail Napkin on the bar counter, and the Ober of Bells playing card on the lighting-rig walkway behind the DJ stage.
Chapter 3 — All the Time in the World (Slovakia)
Bond and several of his fellow 00-program recruits travel to the Grand Carpathian Hotel in Slovakia for the World Chess Championships. Mid-mission, the Murto twins — assassins working for the Webb operation — plant a bomb at the hotel. The blast kills Lennox Monroe and two other recruits, and leaves Cressida Bright paralysed. Bond is the field operator who solves the dining-room fireplace puzzle (Lion → Goat → Snake) and escapes via a car chase that ends in a Catch the Plane sequence with Greenway. This is the largest mission in the campaign and contains 27 challenges.
Chapter 4 — The Past Never Dies (Mauritania)

Bond and Greenway infiltrate Aleph, the vertical black market run by Bawma. The objective is to find 009's old contact and reach the auction at the centre of the market — which requires an invitation and $100,000 in cash. The mission contains 12 collectibles, several of which require the Laser Strap gadget — the chapter is also where the Mauritania Postcard sits behind a laser-strap padlock.
Chapter 5 — Beyond the Grave (Mauritania)
Bond pushes deeper into the Mauritania operation — this time at a ship graveyard. The chapter ends in a scripted unwinnable shootout: the player is meant to survive long enough for Greenway to run out of spare clips, at which point a cutscene triggers and the mission ends. Players who try to fight through it on their own discover the encounter is rigged.
Chapter 6 — Uninvited (London)
The Webb Industries gala at Kensington. Bond infiltrates without an invitation (the Gate Crasher challenge), navigates a high-society social-stealth section, and is forced into an environmental-hazards fight against one of the Murto twin assassins — direct fistfighting is not allowed, the AI takes three environmental-hazard hits to deplete. The chapter has 30 challenges, the highest in the game. This is also where Isola Roth resurfaces and where Sir Nicholas Webb is observed at full capacity for the first time.
Chapter 7 — Knightfall (Webb Industries HQ)

Bond infiltrates the Webb Industries London office complex. Sir Nicholas Webb's penthouse safe — code 1493E — contains a major intel drop. The chapter has 24 challenges across stealth, combat, gadgets, hacking and infiltration. The IT Specialist / Service Update challenge — hack all 3 servers, no detection, ≤8 eliminations — is the hardest single challenge in the game. Completing every Knightfall challenge unlocks the white tux for TacSim wear.
Chapter 8 — Time to Die (Vietnam)
The Pearl Resort in Vietnam: a luxury-spa social-stealth chapter where Bond plants trackers on Theresa Lorca, Ramon Hernandez and other Webb contractors. The mission turns into a confrontation with Damien Webb. Greenway pulls Bond out, Bond hunts Damien down and seemingly kills him by crushing him under pipes — but Greenway is fatally wounded in the pursuit. In his final moments Greenway tells Bond that Bond is what MI6 needs. 23 challenges; clearing all of them unlocks the Resort Casual outfit.
Chapter 9 — Wave of the Future (Antarctica)
Bond reaches Webb's Antarctic R&D facility, home to the HYPERION program — THEIA's sibling AI. The chapter contains the Wreckie Sphere puzzle: shatter a glass wall, lower bollards, destroy a ventilation fan, ride through into the HYPERION core room. Inside, Roth kills Sir Nicholas Webb, then attempts to flee with the HYPERION core. The penultimate mission of the campaign, with around 24 challenges.
Chapter 10 — For England (MI6)

Damien Webb survived Vietnam — encased in a powered exo-suit — and returns to lead a mercenary assault on MI6 itself. Bond pulls the Valhalla keys from Q's jacket in the Wearable section and tears through the mercenaries with the customized Aston Martin Valhalla (machine guns + missiles). The Damien fight is two phases: a proximity-hack jammer phase (the Fire in the Hole! challenge restricts you to proximity hacks only) and a synchronized turret-mirror phase (Turret Aficionado: damage Damien with the first turret in under 2 minutes). Bond chases Damien into the sewers below MI6, disables the exo-suit, throws himself and Damien into the water, and the suit shorts out. Damien drowns.
Epilogue — at Greenway's graveside
Bond is formally inducted into the 00-section. M offers him the 001 designation. Bond declines and requests 007 instead. The classic Bond theme plays in full. M warns Bond about a shadow organization MI6 cannot yet identify. The screen cuts to black on "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN."
